Be free

Seriously, Just Be Yourself

If there's ONE thing in this world I believe, it's that we need to live as our true, authentic selves. We don't need to dim our colours because someone else doesn't like them. The people who are your true tribe will love you even more for just being free, as your wonderfully amazing self.

Whoever you are deep down at your core, after you strip away all the bullshit of what other people tell you that you are - THAT'S who you really are.

Wouldn't it be amazing to live life as that woman?

What would you do differently if you didn't give a shit about being judged by the people around you? What would you do differently if you didn't feel the need to live up to your parent's expectations. What would you do differently if you decided to love yourself as you are, without trying to be skinnier, prettier, smarter?

No really, what would you do differently?

Take some time to just run a thought download onto a piece of paper, or type it on your computer - hell, write it in the memos on your phone if you want to. Just sit down and get honest with yourself about how you would show up differently in this world.

One of my missions is to empower women to live more authentically - to shed the shoulds of what they've been told they should be doing. By society. By family and friends. By themselves.

Life is so much less complicated when you're being true to yourself. You develop this super power called intuition (spoiler alert: you've had it in you all along) - and you learn to trust yourself.

You stop wasting time worrying about what other people think of you. Because it doesn't matter.

You're not for everyone, and everyone is not for you.

It's like the saying, "you can be the juiciest peach in the world, but there will always be someone who hates peaches". It's the truth. There will always being people trying to dull your shine.

But who gives a shit?

Why would their opinion even matter?

And if you find yourself in a situation where someone you love is grinding your gears - remember that they're usually coming from a place of love. They're genuinely scared for you.

And so what?

Their fears and worries and anxiety are not on you. That BS is on them.

Have they been in your position, building their own business the same way you are? Likely, the answer is no. So are they qualified to tell you how to do things? Nope.

So let them think their own thoughts of trying to keep you small - you have no control over how they think.

But you do have control over how YOU think. You can choose to believe their thoughts, and give up on yourself.

Or you can choose to believe that you are capable of great things, and continue on the adventure of being your wild, crazy self.

Doing it differently.

Being successful.

Creating the freedom you deserve.
