Believe in yourself

It's Just Easier than Actually Trying

Why does it take so long for us to trust ourselves?

We have no problem trusting other people.

Using their opinions as our own.

Listening to what they have to say, and putting more weight on it than our own thoughts.

Believing in the doubts.

Piling them on top of our own - amplifying the likelihood of us failing.

Why do we let other people influence our thoughts?

Our feelings?

Our actions?

Our outcome?

Our future?

Pretty simply, because it's just easier than actually trying.

It's easier to play small, than to put ourselves out there.

It's easier to stay quiet, than to rise up and voice our true thoughts.

It's easier to sit inside our comfort zone, than to step outside the box - and risk being seen.

But really... is it easier?

All the frustration of knowing we're meant for more.

All the missed opportunities from not speaking up.

All the happiness passing us by because we've chosen to settle for less than we deserve.

Is it actually easier?

Because I know when I was going through all that shit...

I felt lost.

I felt confused.

I felt overwhelmed.

At least, that's what I let myself believe at the time.

Until I realized that everything I needed to know was already inside me.

**Insert eye roll here**

No really, it actually is.

I used to roll my eyes at that statement too.

But then I decided to test this theory out.

I figured, what's the worst that could happen, if I started to actually listen to myself?

To tune in to what I wanted for me.

Not for anyone else.

I asked myself, what would my ideal day look like?

What would I see, hear, smell, taste, touch?

I painted a picture of that perfect day.

And it felt like I was actually standing right there, in the middle of it.

It was so vivid.

It was so obvious.

But we often don't let ourselves dream like that.

Usually, we put a limit on our thoughts.

We break them down by our perceived version of reality.

But there's no reason why you can't actually live the life you're dreaming of for yourself.

It all comes down to how bad you want it.

What are you willing to do to make it happen for yourself?

How many times are you willing to get up after you fall?

What kind of risks are you willing to take, to reap your reward?

How many excuses are you willing to overcome?

How resourceful are you willing to get?

The truth is...

Everything you need to know really is inside you.

Right now.

And you already have the means to create that life you're dreaming of.

You just have to take one bold action at a time.

And actually try.

Not that half-assed I-gave-up-the first-time-it-didn't-work try.

The real try.

The try where you know you're going to face challenges.

And you know you'll overcome them.

The try where it's a non-negotiable to make it fucking happen.

And start building the life you deserve.

Because when it comes down to it...

It's not just easier than actually trying.

Trying actually just gets easier.

Perfectly Imperfect

Perfectly Imperfect.jpg

Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm a perfectionist.

Well, a recovering perfectionist, really.

And believe it or not, the recovery began when I started my own coaching business.

It didn't take long before I realized that my business is not a place for perfectionism.

When I tried to make everything perfect, it stressed me out.

It felt overwhelming.

I felt anxious.

When I tried to make everything perfect, the fun was sucked out of it.

So I decided to say "fuck it" (a reoccurring theme, you may have noticed), and started to share messages that came from the heart, rather than content that was polished and professional.

And guess what happened?

You love it!

You relate to me more.

You know I understand what you're going through.

You trust me, because I've been there too.

All you need is someone a couple steps ahead of you.

All you need is a mentor who is authentic.

Someone real.

Not some put-together bullshit professional content that makes you roll your eyes.

You like real life stories.

You like knowing you're not alone.

You like being coached by someone who gets it.

And how cool is it that by being my perfectly imperfect self, I'm helping to change lives.

And you're turning around and doing the same.

A beautiful butterfly effect.

All because I decided to get real.

To get raw.

To show up as myself.

To believe in myself.

And to help you do the same.

It's time, ladies.

It's time to drop the perfectionist act.

We're only doing it out of fear of what other people think of us.

And we all know the truth about that crap.

The judgment of others is merely a projection of their own inner struggles.

Wouldn't it feel amazing to be yourself in this world?

To cut the bullshit and truly show up as who you are.

Who you really are.

To live the life you want.

To build the business you dream of.

To experience the freedom of living through your authentic soul.

It's time.

Let's unleash that fearless fempreneur inside of you!

Because shit just got real.

You just felt that flicker of inspiration.

There's no turning back now.

It's time.

It's your time.

So step up and become who you know you are.

Live free.

Be yourself.

It's such an amazing feeling.

And you deserve it.

It Will Always Work Out

I just got off a group coaching call with my mentor, Mandy Perry, who is AMAZING! The topic was about money mindset - but the funny thing is that there's so much more to money mindset than just your thoughts about money itself.

When it comes to investing in yourself, it runs much deeper than a question of "can I afford it?".

Because if you want it bad enough, you'll tell yourself you CAN afford it.

And if you're scared that you'll fail, or that you're not capable of putting in hard work, then you'll tell yourself you CAN'T afford it.

It's so easy to use money as a deflection - to use it as a way to get out of showing up for yourself.

But it's never about the money.

Ask yourself what you REALLY want.

Do you really want to choose to believe that you're not worth the investment in yourself?

Because I can tell you that you are worth it.

Or do you truly want to make this investment in yourself because you can feel it in your bones that this is exactly what you need to propel yourself forward?

And that's not coming from a place of wanting you to give me your money.

No, it comes from a place of knowing the exact same thoughts you're having, and feeling those exact same emotions - and knowing the EMPOWERMENT of pushing past the bullshit excuses and just making it happen for yourself - to allow yourself to be called to more, because you KNOW you're capable of it.

Sure, if we both feel that we're a good fit for each other, I'd love to work with you.

But if we decide we're not the best fit for each other, then I still want you to find SOMEONE who you resonate with, to help you be inspired you step into your true self - to be yourself and believe in yourself.

Because investing in your self care is one of the best choices you will ever make.

Whether it's with me as your coach, or someone else who speaks to your soul.

I'm lucky enough to have found someone I resonate with. That when Mandy speaks - I feel like she's somehow uncovered those deep thoughts within me.

And in a way, she has. Because she's been there too.

Just like I've been exactly where you are now - and continue to manage my mind each and every day.

The message that Mandy helped me realize today is...

It will always work out.

All you have to do is trust in the process, and ask yourself what the next step is that you can take to move yourself forward.

Are you willing to do what it takes to make this opportunity become your reality?

Do you believe you will put in the work to show up for yourself?

Or are you telling yourself that it's never worked in the past, so it's not going to work this time either.

That's BS.

The past is NOT evidence of the future.

So what if it didn't work before?

That was then. This is now.

And every moment of your life, you have the choice to make a move to allow you to step forward - or to choose to keep feeling like shit, and stay exactly where you are.

I know this because I was there too.

I can't even count the times I would cry (literally cry) about how I wanted things to be different - yet I did nothing to change.

So here's some tough love for you: If you want things to be different, then cut the crap and choose to do something different for yourself.

What are you willing to do to get yourself to where you want to be?
